Ruby Dear Designs began with a love for embroidery passed down through generations.

My journey started in childhood, learning hand embroidery, cross stitch, and crochet from my Granny Ruby Lee. She taught me more than stitches. She taught me patience, craftsmanship, and the beauty of creating something meaningful by hand. Today, Ruby Dear Designs carries her name in honor of that legacy.

Her influence lives on not only in this business, but in my family as well. My third child proudly carries the name Ruby, a daily reminder of the woman who first placed a needle and thread in my hands.

In 2012, when my first daughter was born, embroidery became more than a hobby, it became a calling. By 2018, I began digitizing my own designs, determined to create files that stitched beautifully, sequenced thoughtfully, and reflected the timeless style I couldn’t always find.
